Koh Research Group

Hello!

I am Hyeyoung Koh. I am an Assistant Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Washington State University.  My group focuses on research for steel and hybrid structures, with an emphasis on enhancing their design and analysis for resilience and sustainability. Representative topics include AI-aided structural design and structural performance assessment through advanced sensing technologies.

Before joining WSU, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my PhD in December 2022 from UW Madison and my BS and MS in Architectural Engineering from Hanyang University.
